Induction/Transition

We aim to ensure that every con to Rudheath Primary Academy and Nursery is as smooth as possible, regardless of when this occurs.

Things we can offer as part of the induction process include:

• A personal school tour 
• A Welcome Pack, including a book bag for those starting in Years Nursery to Year 2
• Visit days for those children starting mid-year
• Welcome meeting for Reception parents
• Transition sessions with and without parents for our Reception and Nursery children.
• Regular parent events to support you and your family in meeting others in the school community
• Visiting your child in their current placement
• Liaison b starting with social care / family support workers
• Short-term phased induction for those children who have been out of education for sometime.
