RudheathPE and Sports Premium
Sports Premium is funding allocated to schools to increase participation in Sport. This year we are continuing to fund our entry into the Vale Royal School Sports Partnership which includes tournaments for the children to enter and a mentoring scheme for teachers to develop their PE skills. We will also be replacing sports equipment that has become damaged so that all children are able to take part in gymnastics with equipment. We are also looking at developing the schools confidence teaching dance through professional dance teachers. We also use the Sports Premium to fund every child (Reception - Year 6) having an off-site outdoor pursuits day.

Swimming Lessons
Each year we have a pool on site for 3 weeks giving the opportunity for all children from Reception to Year 6 to develop their swimming skills and gain experience in a pool.
By the end of the 2023 - 2024 year, 49% of Year 6 could swim competently for at least 25m. This was a 10% increase on our 2023 level.
