We believe in the partnership between school and home and encourage parents to support children’s learning at home.

Alongside Home Learning and Reading there are many additional opportunities to help children maximise their knowledge and skills.

Many parents and children now have access to computers and we are often asked to recommend websites. We will update these termly and they will be sent out as part of the Year Group Learning Lowdown and can also be found on our Class Pages. (These are suggested examples only and we have no control over content or rights to copy.)

During the COVID-19 pandemic and school closures, the school moved online to the Microsoft Teams platform to continue education remotely. Since that time every child in school has a Teams login and is a member of their year group team. We continue to make use of Teams where appropriate and effective to provide a blended approach to learning in school and for learning at home (this may be dependent on the age of the child).

We also have subscriptions to the following websites to support Maths (Times Table RockStars), Reading (Accelerated Reader) and Handwriting (Letter Join).

Log-in information is sent out to relevant year groups when needed –  please speak to Class Teachers who will be able to support you accessing online resources.
